Two Cars in One Bay: the Daytona LFPP10 10,000 lb Four Post Parking Lift

Garage space is the one thing you cannot order more of. Whether it is a project car taking up the space your daily should have, a seasonal vehicle you do not want sitting outside, or a shop bay doing half the work it could, the answer is usually the same: build up, because you are not building out.

The Daytona LFPP10 is the straightforward way to do it. 10,000 lbs of capacity, 181.9" runways, and a rise from 5.9" to 79.5", which puts a car up high enough to park a second one underneath and still open its doors. It is the standard length model in the range, so it fits a normal bay rather than dictating one.

Safety is carried by four mechanical locking devices, each with primary and secondary locks and a single point manual release. It runs on an ordinary 120V single phase circuit at 1.5 HP, anchors into a standard 4" slab, and ships with a steel jack tray, three plastic drip trays, and removable aluminum approach ramps. The runways adjust for different track widths and the pump mounts on any of the four posts.

Measure the ceiling before you order. The lift is 98.3" tall on its own, and the car going on top adds to that. Contact us and we will work through the ceiling, the slab, and the door swing. Browse our other storage lifts, four-post lifts, and rolling bridge jacks, or view the full Daytona lineup.

Benefits of the Daytona LFPP10

Doubles the bay, not the building
79.5" of rise puts one car overhead and leaves room for another underneath. One parking space becomes two without touching the walls, the slab, or the footprint.
Four locks, primary and secondary
Each of the four mechanical locking devices carries both a primary and a secondary lock, released from a single point. A vehicle may sit on this lift for months, so the locking is the part that actually matters.
Fits a normal garage
1.5 HP at 26 amps on 120V single phase, and a minimum 4" slab at 3,000 PSI. No 240V drop, no three phase service, and no pouring a new floor.
Trays and ramps included
A steel jack tray, three plastic drip trays, and removable aluminum approach ramps all ship with the lift. The drip trays are what keep the car parked underneath clean.
Adjustable runways, flexible pump
Runway spacing adjusts to suit different track widths, and the power unit can be mounted on whichever of the four posts suits your outlet and your walking route.
Engineer stamped and production approved
Heavy-duty 3.5" cylinder, aircraft quality lifting cables, and a matted powder coat finish. The dimensional drawing is certified and published, so you can plan the garage off real numbers.

Key Features of the Daytona LFPP10

• 10,000 lb capacity, 79.5" of rise: Driven by a heavy-duty 3.5" cylinder with aircraft quality lifting cables. The deck travels from 5.9" to 79.5", so it doubles as a service height when you want to work rather than store.

• Advanced locking system: Four mechanical locking devices, each with a primary and a secondary safety lock, and a single point manual release so lowering is one deliberate action.

• Runways: 181.9" long and 18.7" wide each, on 64.0" centers, with adjustable spacing to suit different track widths.

• Removable aluminum ramps: They come off when you want the floor back, and aluminum keeps them light enough that removing them is not a two person job.

• Footprint: 230.1" long with the ramps down and 197.6" without them, 122.0" wide across the frame. Allow 134.7" of width for clearance past the power unit. Overall height is 98.3".

• Pump mounts on any post: Useful when the outlet is on the wrong wall, or when you need the power unit away from where you walk.

• Included: One steel jack tray, three plastic drip trays, and removable aluminum approach ramps. The LFPP-WHL wheel kit and the RAJ5 rolling jack are sold separately.

Minimum Garage Requirements

āœ” Floor Space: 21'-0" L x 12'-0" W recommended (lift occupies 230.1" x 134.7" including ramps and power unit) āœ” Ceiling Height: 98.3" minimum for the lift, plus the height of the vehicle you park on top āœ” Concrete Requirements: Minimum of 4"-3000psi
āœ” Floor Level: Within 3/8" across the installation area āœ” Electrical: 120V single phase, 1.5 HP, 26A, 60Hz dedicated circuit āœ” Access: Forklift and clear approach for a 2,500 lb freight crate 191" long

*This lift requires a minimum of 4" of 3,000 PSI concrete, level within 3/8" across the installation area, with no anchor placed within 6" of a crack, edge, or expansion joint. Installing on inadequate concrete may result in serious injury or death. It is the customer's responsibility to verify concrete thickness and strength prior to purchase and installation.

Daytona LFPP10 Frequently Asked Questions

Will two cars actually fit under my ceiling?

Do the arithmetic before you order. The lift is 98.3" tall by itself, which is 8'-2", and the vehicle on the top deck sits above the runway rather than inside that figure. A 10 foot ceiling handles most sedans on top. A standard 8 foot residential ceiling will not. Measure to the lowest obstruction, which is usually the garage door track or a light fixture, not the ceiling itself.

Should I get this or the XLT?

The Daytona LFPP10-XLT has the same 10,000 lb capacity but runs 196.9" runways and 85" of clearance, against 181.9" and 79.5" here. Choose the XLT if you are stacking a crew cab, a long wheelbase van, or a full size SUV, and if your ceiling can take the extra 7 inches of lift height. For cars and mid size SUVs the standard LFPP10 costs less and takes less room.

Can I use it to work on a car, not just store one?

Yes, within limits. The deck travels from 5.9" to 79.5", so you can set a comfortable working height. Add the RAJ5 rolling jack if you need the wheels off. A four post lift keeps the vehicle on its own wheels by default, so for suspension and brake work the jack is not optional.

Does it really run on a normal 120V outlet?

It runs on 120V single phase at 1.5 HP, drawing 26 amps. That is a dedicated circuit, not a shared one, and 26 amps is more than a standard 15 or 20 amp household receptacle will carry. Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and breaker before the lift arrives.

Can I move it once it is installed?

With the optional LFPP-WHL wheel kit, yes. It bolts casters to the column bases so the lift can be rolled within the garage, and ships as a 40" x 24" x 10" package weighing 120 lbs. Without it the lift stays where it is set, so order the wheel kit with the lift rather than after.

What concrete does it need?

A minimum of 4" of 3,000 PSI concrete, level within 3/8" across the installation area, with no anchor placed within 6" of a crack, edge, or expansion joint. That is a standard residential garage slab, which is part of why this lift suits a home garage rather than only a commercial shop. Verifying the slab is still the customer's responsibility, and if you are not certain what is under your floor, core it before you order.

How does delivery work?

The LFPP10 ships as freight in a crate 191" long weighing 2,500 lbs with the pump included. At nearly sixteen feet that is not a tailgate delivery, and a residential driveway may not take the truck. Contact us before ordering so the delivery is planned rather than improvised on the day.

What is the warranty?

Five years structural, two years on power units, cylinders, and seal kits, and one year on all other defective parts. Daytona has served shops in the United States and Canada since 1999 and stocks parts in regional warehouses.
