How long does standard shipping take?
Most orders ship within 5–7 business days. Delivery typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your location. All lifts ship via freight carrier and you'll receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched. We ship to all 48 contiguous US states for free.
Can I order online and pick up in store?
We are an online-only retailer, so in-store pickup is not available. All orders are shipped directly to your address via freight carrier. Delivery is to paved road access only — please ensure your address is accessible for a freight truck.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Inspect your delivery carefully before signing. If you notice any damage, note it on the delivery receipt and take photos immediately. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@garageliftdepot.com with photos and we will arrange a free replacement of any damaged parts at no cost to you.
Do I need a professional to install my lift?
Most of our lifts come with detailed installation manuals and can be installed by someone with basic mechanical knowledge. However, we strongly recommend having a qualified mechanic or contractor perform the installation. 2-post lifts must be anchored into concrete, so we recommend a minimum 4-inch thick concrete floor rated at 3,000 PSI.
Can I install a car lift outdoors?
No. All of our lifts are designed for indoor use in a controlled environment only. Outdoor installation will void your warranty. Exposure to moisture, humidity, extreme temperatures, and sunlight can damage the hydraulic system, cause rust, and degrade electrical components.
What ceiling height do I need?
This varies by lift model. As a general guide, 2-post lifts require a minimum ceiling height of around 11–12 feet, while 4-post storage lifts may need 9–10 feet. Always check the specific product specifications before purchasing. When in doubt, contact us and we'll help you find the right fit.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order. Due to the size and weight of our products, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Please contact us before initiating a return so we can guide you through the process.
