How much floor space do I actually need?
Plan on 28 by 15 feet. The lift is 153.9" wide and 268.7" long with the ramps tilted up, which stretches to 315.7" when they are down for a vehicle to drive on. Size the bay off the ramps-down number, then allow room to walk both sides, open doors, and position the alignment computer. Ceiling height is set by your tallest vehicle plus 66.9" of rise, not by the lift, since a four post rack has nothing overhead.
Are the slip plates and turntables really included?
Yes, both are standard. This is worth checking carefully when you compare quotes, because on a number of competing alignment racks the slip plates, the turntables, or both are priced as accessories. A rack that looks cheaper on the headline can land higher once the alignment hardware is added back in.
What else do I need to actually perform alignments?

Should I get the 14,000 lb, or the 12,000 or 24,000?
If your alignment work is cars, pickups, vans, and the occasional dually, the LFPA12 covers it in a smaller footprint for less money. The LFPA14 buys headroom on capacity and a longer runway for extended wheelbases. Step up to the LFPA24 only when medium duty is genuinely in the mix: box trucks, shuttle buses, ambulances, and larger chassis cabs.
What concrete does it need?
A minimum of 8" of 3,000 PSI concrete, level within 3/8" across the installation area, with no anchor placed within 6" of a crack, edge, or expansion joint. Verifying the slab is the customer's responsibility, and installing on inadequate concrete is genuinely dangerous. If you are not certain what is under your floor, core it before you order.
Does it need three phase power?
No. It runs on 240V single phase, 4 HP, 15 amps, 60Hz on a dedicated circuit. Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and breaker sizing before the installer arrives, and get the drop run to where the power unit column will actually stand rather than where it is convenient today.
How does delivery work?
The LFPA14 ships as freight at roughly 5,400 lbs, with runways over twenty feet long. That is not a tailgate delivery. You will need a forklift with adequate capacity and a clear approach on site.
